Kody always knew she was different, and not just because she grew up in a home for troubled foster kids. If that was her only issue, she would have fit right in. Instead she smothers herself in foundation to cover the green swirls that show up on her brown skin in the sun, and styles her hair with care every morning to hide the odd shape of her ears.
